Join for this 30 hour yin yoga intensive!
This training is open to students wishing to deepen their practice and current yoga teachers who would like to deepen and expand their yoga offerings. Yoga teachers will receive a certificate worth 30 continuing education credits with the Yoga Alliance.
Prerequisites, please have experience taking yin classes and purchase and review 'The complete Guide to Yin Yoga'- by Bernie Clark.

Day 1, What is Yin Yoga? What is Fascia? Introduction to Taoist Qigong and Meditation.
The Principles of practicing Yin Yoga.
Group practice, asana lab and group teach. Includes how to use sandbags.
Assisting and Adjusting, how to use props.
Day 2, What is Traditional Chinese Medicine? What are the Meridians and acupressure points? Introducing how to use the wall as a prop.
We will Asana Lab/practice 2 Meridian Line Yin Flows.

Day 3, Yin Yoga for special conditions, practice Taoist Qigong and Meditation

Yin Yoga for Psoas and Piriformis
Introducing how to use straps
Introduction to the 8 Extraordinary Meridians
Yin yoga and astrology, seasons and chakras- including the Taoist Chakras.
Group Teach Taoist Meditations
Group Myofascial Release Class.
Janell Duncan is an E-RYT500 teacher and YACEP with the Yoga Alliance. She has taken two levels of Yin Yoga with Kari Kwinn and has been teaching Yin since 2016. She has also spent a considerable amount of time learning Taosit Internal Alchemy and Qigong with her teacher, Sun Tzu Wong of Dragon Gate Sanctuary.
