Janell is the owner and founder of Aranyani Yoga Studio and a workshop facilitator in Colorado Springs and beyond. She is 500 hours trained in Vinyasa Yoga. Her Vinyasa is influenced by her studies of and Power Yoga, Ashtanga, Rocket and Hatha-Raja. She maintains a traditional vibe with modern music, creative sequencing and loves to help students progress in their practice. She includes breath work, mantra, Sanskrit, subtle body engagement and meditation. She has taken 150 hours of Rocket training with her teacher, David Kyle of Ashtanga Yoga Puerto Rico, and is amazed by this practice every time she steps on her mat. She loves this practice for the balance of hard and soft, how quickly it allows her to drop into meditative movement and the daily progression within her body and mind. Janell recently completed 30 hours in Ashtanga Yoga with Sam Vetrano in Boulder, Co. Janell likes to balance this with the lunar practices of Yin Yoga and Reiki healing. She has taken 2 levels of yin yoga and is a Reiki Master Practitioner. Janell has around 700 hours of yoga teacher training experience. Having taken both a 200 and 300 hour Vinyasa trainings, 150 hours in Rocket and Yin trainings. She has taught over 2,500 classes earning her the distinction of E-RYT500 and YACEP, continuing education provider.
Linene Blanton-E-RYT 200 hour teacher. Vinyasa and Yin Linene has been practicing yoga for 18 years. As she traveled North America with her Air Force husband and four children she was able to try many styles of yoga in many places. Vinyasa called her to a daily practice using movement and breath to take her practice from a "work out" to a "work in". Linene decided to turn her passion into something more. She earned her 200 RYT in 2016. Also this year she earned her Yin certification. In just three years she has taught over 1,000 hours of Vinyasa and Yin yoga, earning her the distinction of E-RYT200. Linene spends her free time with her amazing husband and four teenagers. She is an avid reader and loves talking books. She volunteers her time teaching yoga to the Woodland Park Hockey Team.
Susan Hicks RYT 200 Susan received her 200 hour training from Pranava Yoga Center in Colorado Springs. She loves the process of yoga and the "aha" moments when our bodies respond to the process. She is inspired to share her yoga practice with anyone and everyone she can.
Tamara Osagie RYT 200 With am MA in International Disaster Psychology and an MBA, Tamara's background is in PTSD and International Business. She started her yoga journey in 2014 while living in Shanghai, China. This gave her the opportunity to study with world-class teachers from China, Ukraine and Brazil. She has practiced many forms of yoga from Universal to Jivamukti to yin but her primary focus is Ashtanga Vinyasa, Restorative and Pranayama. These are what she was trained in during her 200 at Centered Yoga in Koh Samui, Thailand with her teacher Paul Dallaghan. When she teaches she looks for ways ti improve alignment and the use of the body personalized to the student. She focuses on biomechanics, breath and injury prevention. She is also certified on sound bowl healing therapy.
Brittney Maddy CYT 200 Brittney immediately fell in love with yoga for the comfort and freedom the mat gave her. She has been practicing for about 7 years and started as a Children's Yoga Teacher. She always knew she would love teaching. Yoga and holistic medicine has been part of her healing journey, completed her level 1 Reiki certification in 2015. In 2019 she completed her 200 yoga teacher training at Satya as a Vinyasa based teacher incorporating Restorative, Yin and Gentle yoga. She loves weaving in the importance of Pranayama breathing exercises, organic movement, Reiki and Yoga Nidra. She loves foraging for herbs, making her own aromatherapy and hiking in nature with her husband Chris and their pup Murph.
Heather Mitchell RYT 200 Heather has completed 300 hours of yoga teacher training and has been teaching yoga classes and workshops since 2015. She believes passionately in the countless benefits not only for the body, but for calming the mind as well. She has a deep respect for healing power of traditional aspects of yoga, such as Pranayama and Meditation, and incorporates these into her classes. Heather exudes a welcoming and friendly energy that creates a comfortable place where everyone can feel at home. She uses connection of breath with movement to help students find balance in the body and mind. Her teaching style is one that makes everyone feel like a successful practice is attainable, giving multiple options for each pose to accommodate a variety of skill levels. She has a relaxed and approachable teaching style that makes everyone in the class feel welcome and comfortable while finding clarity and focus through yoga.
Tiffany Lord 200 RYT Tiffany is founder of Love and Asana, private yoga coach, and resident instructor for The National Headache Center. Her passion is helping people learn quick, realistic ways to integrate yoga into daily life for stress and pain management. Off the mat she loves sipping on lattes, dancing, daydreaming about the ocean and soaking up mountain life with her husband and puggle.
Julie Lyons 200 RYT Julie began her yoga journey over ten years ago as treatment for her depression and anxiety. She never dreamed it would lead to her finding her passion, her calling and her profession. She earned her 200 hour intensive training at Sanctuary for Yoga in Nashville, TN, in 2014 and has been an enthusiastic student and teacher ever since. Her fun, flowing classes are based in Vinyasa and heavily influenced by Kundalini, Iyengar and restorative yoga styles. Julie puts her heart and her soul into her classes and strives to create classes that are mentally and spiritually uplifting as well as physically challenging. She likes to use humor, personal antidotes and stories to help illustrate yogic principles. She spends her free time hiking and kayaking with her family and silver lab, Georgia.
