Janell is the proud founder of Aranyani Yoga Studio. She became interested in Yoga as a child through the local library. Bringing home books on yoga and trying the poses outside, Shoulder Stand, Headstand and Lotus. As a teenager she was introduced to books on Yoga Philosophy such as the Bhagavad Gita, which started a life long love of this topic. In her teenage years she was also part of a Modern Dance company and was introduced to the physical Asana yoga practice. She has practiced many styles of Yoga including Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Restorative, Yin and Gentle. A native to Northern California, Janell branched out and moved across the country to Vermont, where she became fond of Yoga in Yurts in the forest. Since moving to Colorado she mentored with Michelle Truscelli for two years in an Ashtanga based system. She has been teaching since November 2014 and recently completed a 300 hour program at Pranava in Colorado Springs. She loves to teach all 8 limbs of yoga. Expect to learn philosophy, Sanskrit, chanting, and Pranayama breathing in her classes with fun music and laughter. She is trained to teach Yin Yoga and is a Reiki Master Practitioner as well. When not doing Yoga you can find her hiking with her dogs, Bubba and Sadie, and Bubba's neighbor girlfriend dog, Annie, in her garden growing food, and making salsa.
Leah Wilson began studying yoga and eastern philosophies at a young age with a private mentor, Kimberly Klein, who doubled as her ballet instructor. By age 17 she was certified and teaching yoga classes at a local yoga studio. Following high school in 2007, Leah began her studies in massage therapy at the Colorado Institute of Massage Therapy. She is an avid traveller, always searching for opportunity to expand her knowledge of healing modalities, open to new culture and self awareness. She has studied, practiced with and is mostly inspired by Kim Klein, Sunny Klaber, Nikki Oleson, Jen Hillman, Cole Chance and Clara Roberts-Oss. Leah runs a private massage practice, White Lotus Therapies LLC, in Woodland Park, CO and facilitates yoga classes around the Pikes Peak Region. Her students and clients appreciate her ability to tailor classes and sessions to the aptitude of the participants, yet urges to explore our true capability to push past our self limiting boundaries in a safe, loving way. Leah teaches yoga in many different styles including Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, Mudra, Pranayama and guided meditation. .
Linene Blanton-YA 200 hour teacher Kleppe began her yoga journey more than 15 years ago after the birth of her 1st child. As a military wife and mother of four, Linene has received numerous classes throughout North America, giving her different and unique perspectives as a student. She has used those skills to teach local amateur and scholastic athletes to increase their overall fitness. Having done this for many years, Linene decided it was time to take her passion to a professional level. She received her 200-hour Teacher Certification through Prananva Yoga Center.
Linene incorporates the mind, body and spirit into her vibrant Vinyasa and Yin classes. She is a graduate of Morehead State University and is the founder and current owner of My Yoga Bliss.
In addition to practicing and teaching yoga, Linene and her husband Michael homeschool their four children. She fills their days with books, hiking skiing, canoeing and exploring nature.
Jeannie Harlan YA 200 hour teacher has been interested in Yoga for years, but started a regular practice in 2012 to help with stress reduction. She can’t imagine life without Yoga. Jeannie completed her 200 hr YTT in 2014 through Cambio Yoga and has been teaching at Aranyani Yoga since May 2015. Jeannie believes in following your passion and desires to support others in their pursuit of their passions. Her philosophy is that life is a journey filled with struggles designed for growth: spiritually, physically and emotionally. She seeks to guide her students safely through the healing practice of Yoga by challenging and supporting them through their journeys of self-acceptance, confidence building and deepening in their practice. In addition to teaching Yoga, Jeannie is a Registered Nurse at a Fertility Clinic. In her free time, she can be found spending time with her husband, two children and two dogs. She is an Iowa native, but has been in Colorado for 15 years and can’t imagine living anywhere else. Jeannie enjoys running, hiking biking, skiing and camping. Jeannie teaches Vinyasa Flow, Power Vinyasa and Family Yoga. You can expect fun music, a calming and supportive voice and challenging sequences.
Brenn Micael E-RYT 200, RYT 500, YACEP Brenn began teaching in 2012 after completing a 200 hour teacher training through a general studies program. She was practicing Rocket Yoga on a regular basis and decided to put her focus there. She began study with David C. Kyle for her 500 hour yoga teacher training in San Jaun, Puerto Rico. She spent most of 2014-2015 traveling to Puerto Rico for intensives in Progressive Ashtanga and Rocket Yoga System. She is now certified as a Level 2 Rocket Yoga Teacher. "As a student of yoga, I enjoy finding physically challenging classes and am constantly working on sthira and sukha (hard and soft) in my personal practice. I believe in the breath and understand the gravity it has on us individuals. My personal practice includes Ashtanga, Rocket, Yin and is constantly evolving everyday." "As a teacher of yoga, I like to challenge my students because I believe it initiates a true internal process that awakens us. Its important to me that I create a positive from the time the students walk in to the time they walk out. if you attend my classes, absolutely expect to be challenged, feel welcomed, have fun and be inspired to explore."
Tiffany Lord RYT 200, Tiffany received her 200 hour Power Vinyasa Training through Corepower in Colorado Springs. With a background in gymnastics and bodywork, yoga was a natural fit and improved Tiffany's strength, flexibility and mental focus. She believes in sharing this practice by leading students through intelligently sequenced classes with fun music, focusing on safe alignment. Power yoga encourages practitoners to match breath to movement which helps build internal heat (tapas) and tap into the moving meditation of Yoga. Students are encouraged to laugh at themselves (Including Tiffany's commentary) while getting a full body workout. Outside of the studio Tiffany runs her apparel company Love and Asana, and manages board meetings for a local non-profit. She loves chilling with her peeps, reading, eating, drinking espresso eating again, and getting on her mat as often as possible.
